Bayesian Analyses of Macroevolutionary Mixtures
Briefly, Bayesian statistical methods compute a probability distribution of parameters (posterior) in a statistical model, using data and the previous knowledge (prior) about the parameters (unknown quantity of interest in a study).
I am a Ph.D. Candidate in Biology at the Concordia University, in Montréal, Canada. I research how phylogenetic and spatial scales and current and historical components drive ecological and evolutionary patterns in species distributions.
